Scheduling an email
"I should schedule it as late as possible, so they think I worked late," he wondered, staring at the draft on his screen. "But what if someone responds immediately and I don't respond? I can just say that I crashed right after sending it."
He leaned back. "But then the last edit in the doc won't reflect the latest time. They might check the timestamp and realize I wasn't working on it until the very end."
The monologue continued, weighing pros and cons of each scenario. "Maybe I should set an alarm and wake up early to respond to any potential replies. But then I'll be tired tomorrow."
As he debated, his colleague chimed in, "Bro, if you put this much effort into your actual work, you'd be employee of the month!"
