Remembering the good days

"Remember when our company was just a small startup? We were so agile back then," he said. "Now that we've grown so much, things have gotten way too comfortable around here."

She nodded. "Oh, absolutely! Health insurance, paid time off? It's like they don't want us to suffer anymore!"

"The worst part is the new management," he sighed. "They actually listen to employee feedback and try to create a positive work environment."

"It's a shame, really." she said. "It was so motivating to come to work every day, not knowing if it would be my last!"

"Those were the days," he said, wiping a tear from her eye. "Now we're stuck with job security and a clear path for career growth. It's just not the same."
