"Can you tell me about your—" the interviewer started.
"I'm a highly motivated self-starter," the candidate blurted out.
"Okay, but what about your—"
"I have a proven track record of success."
"Right, but how do you handle—"
"I thrive under pressure and always meet deadlines."
"Thank you, we'll be in touch," the interviewer said, exasperated.
The candidate left, confident they had nailed it.
