"National Pet Day! Show your pets some love!" the world exclaimed.

"Allergic," they sneered.

"Let's give thanks on Thanksgiving!" the world suggested.

"Vegan," they responded.

"Cherish your mothers this Mother's Day!" the world sang.

"Orphan," they retorted.
